The job

Born Social are an award winning Social Media agency for businesses that want to think like David, not Goliath. We work with some of the world's most loved brands, including Nando's, Kopparberg and Airwick. We’re a super ambitious team of almost 60 people, and just getting started.  

We’re growing fast so we’re looking for a Head of Client Services to join us. We’ve been building out Born Social’s first ‘Head of’ team and we’re looking for an inspiring Head of Client Services to lead, scale and develop our brilliant team of Account Directors. This new role involves a wide range of skills and experience; commercial and strategic thinking, industry leading client services knowledge and a love for team leadership and operations. In this role you will improve the standard of our Account Director team, support the team with the delivery of award winning work but most importantly lead the business strategy for this pillar of the agency. 

What you'll be doing:

Client Services vision and strategy - Working with the Executive Client Services Director to set and deliver a team vision that positions us to reach our lead agency vision. Turning this vision into a strategy that impacts team hiring, skill development and client services delivery. 

Leadership of Account Directors - Leading on the performance and development of our Account Directors, ensuring they are thriving both as individuals and as a team.

Client Services Team performance - Ensuring that we have a high performing team by supporting professional development plans, working with the Senior team to ensure roles are filled on time with the best candidates, supporting team resourcing and leading on exploring new opportunities to increase efficiency or introduce new deliverables.

Client Services Delivery - Leading by doing and setting the standard. Leading from the front on key accounts and pitches as well as troubleshooting any client delivery issues alongside our Account Directors.

Account Development - Leading the development and performance of our account pipeline. Establishing agency growth strategies, team operations, weekly and monthly reporting.

Client Reporting - Ensuring we are regularly selling back the value of our work and social media as a lead marketing channel to clients, along with reporting on where we could be adding more value agency wide.

Internal Reporting - Liaising with the Director team, the Senior Team and other Heads of department to report on the health and commercial performance of existing clients. Sharing insight on our team, work and structure. 

Heads of collaboration - Working with the Head Of team to lead all teams consistently, deliver on roadmap goals and achieve commercial targets. Ensuring active and valuable participation in monthly Heads Of meetings, positively working to resolve all challenges through conversation and action.

Who we're looking for:

We are looking for someone who can inspire confidence with your client services and social media expertise. This role is perfect for someone who has worked in the industry perfecting their own craft over the last 6+ years, and now wants to take on the challenge of managing and scaling a motivated and ambitious team.
